Neighbours Set To Battle For Clare U21A Hurling Title

Inagh/Kilnamona and Kilmaley square off in Cusack Park this evening as both clubs bid to claim the Clare U21A Hurling crown for just the third time in their history.

Kilmaley won their first title back in 1975 before winning their second 40 years later.

Manager Kevin McNamara feels they have the right mix in the current squad to clinch a second title in the last four seasons.

Meanwhile Inagh/Kilnamona will be looking for their second title in the last three years after victory in 2016 was followed by defeat in last years final.

It’s the latest high profile clash with their neighbours after the sides met in the Minor A final in 2017 with victory for the Combo on that occasion.

Manager Brian Foudy feels it’s a game that will generate huge interest.

Throw in this evening is at 5pm with live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Clare Car & Tractor Parts, Gort Road Business Park Ennis in conjunction with Comline Car Parts and Fiamm Batteries.
