New Faces Set To Be Given Chance For Clare Footballers Against Laois

It’s expected a number of new faces could be given their chance to cement a starting place on the Clare senior football team in this weekend’s National League opener.

Laois are the visitors to Cusack Park in the first of three games for Clare in the new look Division Two South, with a trip to Kildare and a home tie with Cork to come over the next few weeks.

Manager Colm Collins has introduced new blood to his squad for the campaign but will be without the services of retired duo Gary Brennan and Gordon Kelly while Aaron Fitzgerald is part of the senior hurling panel this year.
