Mick Shiels has been announced as the new manager of the Clare Oscar Traynor Cup side.
Shiels was manager of the Pike Rovers side which won the Limerick League last season, while he has previously worked in the League of Ireland with Limerick and played in Britain.
Under previous boss Liam Murphy, Clare reached the final of the competition last year and this year they'll face Galway, Mayo and Roscommon in the group stage.
