Newmarket Celtic and Ennis Town get ready for Clare Cup battle

Newmarket Celtic captain Michael Crosby says that the battle in the middle of the park will be a key area in tomorrow evenings Clare Cup Final.

Newmarket are aiming to claim their third title in a row, and face an Ennis Town side bolstered by players who have represented the county at Oscar Traynor level this year.

Crosby says that midfield dominance will be crucial, but believes his side have the upper hand.

Ennis Town captain Steven Hickey says that the clubs early season form has set them up for what could be their most successful season ever.

The town side take on Newmarket Celtic in Saturday evenings Clare Cup final, and are currently unbeaten at the top of the Premier Division League table.

Speaking ahead of the game, Hickey has told Clare FM that his side have seen a real revival in their fortunes this year.
