Newmarket Celtic In Search Of Provincial Glory

Newmarket Celtic go in search of provincial glory this weekend in the Munster Champions Cup Final.

The Clare champions are going up against Limerick side Janesboro, with the game to be held in the County Grounds in Doora at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

Clare FAI delegate Jim Madden says it's a chance for Newmarket to take the step to another level.

Meanwhile Newmarket have been drawn at home in the 6th Round of the FAI Junior Cup. 

They'll host either Killarney Athletic or Tipperary side St Michaels on January 10th. 

On the county scene, Clare will be on the road once more in the last eight of the Oscar Traynor Cup. 

Donie Garrihys side travel to take on Limerick, looking to reach the semi finals for the third consecutive year. 

The game is fixed to be played on or before the weekend of January 22nd
