Newmarket Celtic are celebrating their first league and Cup double in over 20 years today after a 1-0 win over Avenue United B in the clare cup final last night.
Winger Steven Kelly’s far post header just four minutes from the end of the second period of extra time proved the difference between the sides.

The match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes in which the Ennis side had defended heroically and Newmarket had dominated in possession terms.
