In tennis, Irish number 1 Conor Niland will be the first Irish man in decades to play Wimbledon.
After two days of rain delays, Niland today overcame Nicolas Metkich in straight sets 6-3, 7-6, 6-4 in the final round of qualifying,
to secure his place in this year’s tournament.
