Aidan O’Brien’s ‘Fame and Glory’ is being compared with the legendary ‘Yeats’ after a masterful victory at the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.
The 11-to-8 favourite stormed clear of the field over the final two furlongs to win comfortably from the Godolphin runner, ‘Opinion Poll’ – giving O’Brien his fifth win in the Ascot Classic.
