Paul O’Connell has been ruled out of tour to New Zealand.
The Munster second row had been undergoing treatment on his knee injury in London but he has not made the necessary progress.

Connachts Mike Mc Carthy will provide second and back row cover.
The first test takes place in Auckland on June 9th.
