The IRFU are in talks with former Ireland captain Paul O'Connell about a coaching position according to performance director David Nucifora.
He's revealed that negotiations with the Munster man began before he decided to retire.

The former Munster, Ireland and Lions captain retired this year due to a hamstring injury he suffered at the World Cup.
Since then O'Connell has been spotted touring around a number of French and English clubs to see how they operate.
