O’Connor: Cork Outclassed Us In Second Half

Clare’s twenty year wait for Munster Hurling glory will continue following defeat to Cork in the provincial final.

In a repeat of last year’s final, the Rebels took a commanding victory in Semple Stadium yesterday afternoon to claim their second consecutive Munster title, while Clare’s last Munster success was in 1998.

Clare were the dominant side in the first half of the encounter, however a resurgent Cork proved they deserved yesterday’s victory with a show of force in the second half.
