O’Connor says Sunday’s success has kept U21 focused

Joint U21  Manager Gerry O’Connor admits the winning momentum in Clare hurling is making it very easy to refocus his side ahead of their All Ireland Semi final date against Galway on Saturday.

The players who lined out in last weekend’s win over Limerick came through the match unscathed but didn’t train last night in order to aid their full recovery.

Tony Kelly, Colm Galvin, David McInerney and Podge Collins all played leading roles for the seniors, while Shane O’Donnell also contributed as a substitute.
