The goalscorer from Wednesday nights Munster Final win over Cork has been ruled out for four weeks with a fractured hand sustained after a challenge from Cork full back Colm Barry.

It's hoped he will be fit to resume his place should Clare qualify for the final.

Meanwhile a member of the management setup with the Clare Under-21s insists they won't take the threat of Antrim lightly, as they look ahead to the All-Ireland semi-final.

Wednesday's memorable win over Cork sets up a clash with the Northerners on August 23rd, a repeat of last year's final.

On that occassion, Clare romped to a 22 point win but speaking on Wednesday night, coach Paul Kinnerk says they won't assume that another easy win is in store.
