Clare are out of the McGrath Cup after an extra time 2-16 to 2-13 loss to Limerick on Sunday.
Clare appeared set for victory when leading by five points entering the final five minutes of normal time in Foynes before Seamus O Carroll’s goal sent the game to another 20 minutes with the sides deadlocked at 2-10 each.

Clare had led by 1-7 to 0-6 at the break with Clondegad’s Podge Mc Mahon getting both of the visitors goals.
