The Cork hurlers failed to take advantage of Galway’s slip-up as they were beaten by 1-16 to 1-15  by Wexford.

Also in Division One, Waterford defeated Offaly by 2-19 to 1-19  at O’Connor Park.

In Division Two, there were comfortable wins for Limerick and Antrim over Kerry and Down respectively which means Limerick are through to the League final in 4 weeks time.

Clare need to beat Carlow in their final game to secure their passage to the decider after their 3-16 to 3-13 loss on Saturday to Laois.
