Clare Hurling manger Ger O’Loughlin feels his side will need very little motivation in taking on Tipperary in next month’s Munster semi final.

The All Ireland champions booked their place in the provincial last four with an 5 point win over Cork on Sunday  while Clare’s most recent competitive outing was against Limerick in the league final in April.

The Clarecastle native is hoping his side can draw on previous Clare success as inspiration on June 19th

Darach Honan is also struggling with a groin injury ahead of the June 19th encounter.

The Clonlara forward is understood to be getting treatment for the problem which has affected him since the end of the league campaign.

O O’Loughlin meanwhile doesn’t expect that Domhnall O Donovan will play any further part in Clare’s season after rupturing a disc in his back.
