O’Neill Promises Positive Approach In Germany

Martin O'Neill is insisting Ireland will take a positive approach to tonight's Group D qualifier with Germany.

The Boys in Green go to Gelsenkirchen with maximum points from their first two games, while the Germans lost on Saturday to Poland.

O'Neill says nothing will be gained by sitting back for 90 minutes against the World Champions.

Kick-off is at 7:45.

Last night, Iceland caused the upset of qualifying so far, beating Holland 2-0.

Wales top Group B this morning – they survived being reduced to ten men to beat Cyprus 2-1 in Cardiff.
