Pairings decided for 2015 Clare Senior Football and Hurling Finals

The pairings for the 2015 Clare Senior Hurling and Football finals have been decided.

Miltown and Cooraclare both qualified for their first finals this millenium when coming through their respective last four clashes this weekend.

Miltown beat St Breckans to book their spot for the first time since 1991, and manager Michael Neylon says it's an occasion they're looking forward to

Cooraclare meanwhile hit 2-5 in each half to beat Clondegad 4-10 to 2-13. 

It's the first time the Sky Blues will march behind the band since winning the title back in 1997.

Manager Ger Lawlor has paid tribute to the commitment his squad have given this year.

Elsewhere in local football, Corofin captured the intermediate title and with it, promotion to the senior championship for 2016.

Kilmurry Ibrickane captured the senior B title while Cratloe are the Garry Cup champions.

Sixmilebridge legend Sean Stack will lead Clonlara against his native parish in the battle for the Canon Hamilton.

It's after Clonlara produced a strong second half performance to beat Kilmaley by 2-19 to 1-10 in their semi final replay.
