Pardew to make Palace sideline debut for FA Cup tie

Alan Pardew has finally put pen-to-paper on a 3-and-a-half year contract to become the new manager of Crystal Palace.

His first game in charge is tomorrow's FA Cup third round trip to non-League Dover.

The third round continues today, with four Premier League sides in action.

Two of them meet at the King Power with Leicester facing the now-managerless, Newcastle.

Tony Pulis' first game in charge of West Brom sees non-league Gateshead visit the Hawthorns.

Swansea have made the trip to the Wirral to face Tranmere.

Elsewhere today, Conference strugglers Southport go to Championship high-flyers Derby.

Championship leaders Bournemouth go to Rotherham, and Blyth Spartans – who ply their trade in the seventh tier of English football – take on Birmingham.
