Performance Disappointing In Kerry Defeat Says Brennan

Clare captain Gary Brennan feels the manner of their performance in the defeat to Kerry was the most disappointing aspect of the game.

The Banner conceded two early goals to the Kingdom before going down by 2-23 to 0-17 in Killarney in their Munster Semi Final clash.

Clare now face into the second round of the qualifiers, with the draw to be made for that next week.

The Clondegad man says while they responded well to the goals, their performance wasn't consistent enough.

Kerry now take on Tipperary in the Munster Final on July 3rd.

It's after the Premier men recorded a first championship win over Cork since 1944.

Two late frees from Kevin O'Halloran gave them a 3-15 to 2-16.
