Spanish defender Carles Puyol has admitted that he expects to miss Euro 2012.
Barcelona confirmed yesterday that the veteran centre-half is going to be out of action for six weeks with a knee injury, which leaves him facing a race against time to be fit for this summer’s championships.

The 34-year-old, who has won 99 caps for Spain, believes that it will be "impossible" for him to play, but he’s admitted that a lot will depend on how he responds to the surgery.
The defending champions begin their campaign on June 10th against Italy in Poznan before taking-on Ireland four days later in Gdansk.
