Replay Will Be a Repeat in Competitiveness – O’Brien

Broadford’s under 21 hurling manager is expecting the exact same again in tomorrow’s County B Final replay after an hard fought drawn encounter.

James Vaughan and Cian Cremins struck second half goals as last year’s beaten finalists put themselves in pole position in the closing stages only to be denied by Newmarket-on-Fergus.

Leadership was key when they initially fell behind as centre back Paddy Donnellan along with Vaughan, who scored 1-2, got them within grasp of a first title in 14 years.

John O’Brien says their young players are a growing sign of a bright future for the club.

Throw-in at Sixmilebridge tomorrow is 12pm and we’ll have regular updates here on Clare FM.
