It’s reported that Clare Hurling Manager Davy Fitzgerald will escape censure for his criticism about referees in the wake of the Banner’s defeat to Kilkenny last weekend.
The outgoing Central Competitions Control Committee met for the last time on Monday night and According to today’s Irish Independent its understood they didn’t act on Fitzgerald’s comments.

Its understood they weren’t clear if they had the jurisdiction to act in such matters with a new CCCC ready to be installed next weekend.
However The Sixmilebridge Man’s comments may still be examined by the incoming committee.
