Edin Dzeko stayed down after a clash with Daniel Agger shortly before Daniel Sturridge scored.

Rodgers insists his players were right to continue with the game.
That result leaves City 9 points behind leaders Manchester United while Spurs are just one point behind Chelsea in fourth following their 1-0 win away to West Brom.
