Inagh Kilnamona St. Jospehs Doorabarefield and Newmarket emerged as the big winners in yesterdays round two of the county senior hurling championship.
The Combo had a 4 point win over Wolfe tones on a final scoreline of 3-13 to 3-9 while St Josephs waltzed to a 4-17 to 11 point win over Corofin while Newmarket left it late to beat O Callaghan’s Mills by 1-15 to 1-13 thanks to last gasp Eoin Hayes goal.
Both games of the double header in Cusack Park meanwhile ended in draws with Kilmaley and Clarecastle sharing the points 1-11 each scoreline while a Niall Gilligan point from the sideline secured a draw for Sixmilebridge against defending county champions Cratloe as the game ended 1-13 each.
