Whitegate boss Mike Ryan is urging his squad to make the most of their opportunity to reach the quarter finals of the 2017 Clare Senior Hurling Championship.
The East Clare men take on Clooney/Quin in Saturday’s third round tie, with both sides already having suffered one defeat in this years campaign.
Whitegate overcame Cratloe in Round One before losing out to Eire Óg last time out, while Clooney/Quin recovered from defeat to Newmarket to get back into the race for the Canon with an extra time victory over Feakle.
