2013 All Ireland winner Colin Ryan is warning that Clare need to be ready for a backlash from Wexford when they meet in this weekend’s National League tie.
The sides met twice in competitive action last year, with Brian Lohan coming out on top over his former teammate Davy Fitzgerald on both occasions, including when ending their championship run in the final round of qualifiers.
The Leinster side make the trip to Ennis off the back of a comfortable win over Laois last weekend with the likes of Lee Chin, Rory O’Connor and Matthew O’Hanlon expected to feature from the start on Sunday.
Ryan says his former manager will be going all out to atone for those 2020 defeats.
