Clare senior hurler Shane O’Donnell has made his return to action and will be available for the Munster Championship.
The 2013 All-Ireland winner scored two points for Eire Og, Ennis as they beat St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield 1-23 to 2-14 yesterday in the Clare Cup.
It was feared last year’s All-Star nominee could miss the season after being awarded a Fulbright Scholarship at Harvard University in the United States.

But O’Donnell returned to county training on Friday and is expected to be involved against Waterford on May 12th.
