An East Clareman will lead the Irish Show jumping team at next year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Tuamgraney’s Michael Blake has been announced as the High Performance jumping director of the Irish senior show jumping team.
In recent years he’s filled a number of senior roles with the Irish show jumping side, and his role means he’ll act as their chef d’equipe in Japan next summer.

Ireland’s show jumping team at next year’s Games are the first to qualify from this country since the Athens Games of 2004.
