In news from the Special Olympics World Games, a Clare athlete has struck silver.
Ciara O’Loughlin from Inagh finished second in the shot putt event in Athens yesterday.
Meanwhile there was also good news for Clare’s other athlete at the games.

Michael Neville of Sixmilebridge is part of the 11-a-side football team which secured their second successive win, 3-2 over Australia.
