Sixmilebridge’s participation in the county U21 hurling championship semi final with Kilmaley is in doubt ahead of a club meeting tonight.
The U21 holders are unhappy that centre back Seadna Morey may be forced to play in tomorrow’s replay less than 48 hours ahead of possibly starting for Clare in the national hurling league semi final against Kilkenny.
The fixture was decided on Monday by the CCC with both clubs agreement but it has since emerged that Sixmilebridge are unhappy with the arrangements and may not field tomorrow evening.

Sixmilebridge selector Niall Gilligan has told Clare FM that the many in the club are very disappointed with the way the fixture has been handled and they will discuss their options at tonight’s meeting.
