Former Clare manager Ger O’Loughlin has told Clare FM he feels his resignation is the right thing to have done for Clare hurling.

The double All Ireland winner resigned on Wednesday evening 4 days after Clare’s 17 point loss to Galway in Salthill in the All Ireland qualifier.
Sparrow also admitted that results were not good enough over the past two seasons.
The Clarecastle man also told Clare FM that his successor will also have to be patient as the side is in process of rebuilding.
