St Breckans go in search of first Clare SFC Final appearance in 19 years

St Breckans will look to get to Clare footballs biggest day for the first time since 1996 when they face Miltown in this weekends Clare Senior Football Semi Final.

The North Clare men beat Kilrush in the last eight to book their spot, and are now just 60 minutes away from just their third ever appearance in the decider.

Selector Neil Hawes says their championship run to date has given them a chance to learn more about their squad

Throw in tomorrow in Cusack Park is at 5.15pm

The weekends other semi final sees Cooraclare taking on Clondegad on Sunday in Kilmihil from 3.30pm.

In the hurling championship, Kilmaley and Clonlara do it all over again on Sunday afternoon in their semi final replay clash.

That one underway in Cusack Park at 1pm.

Corofin boss James Murrihy is hopeful his side can go one step further than last year when they face Kilmihil in tomorrows intermediate football final.

The North Clare men were beaten by Wolfe Tones in the 2014 decider, but are back in the final once more as they bid to make they jump to the senior ranks.

Murrihy, a native of Kilmurry Ibrickane, is hopeful that experience of the big day is something that will stand to his side
