Sycerika McMahon is through to the semi finals of the individual medley 200 metres at the European Championships in Berlin.
McMahon, whose mother hails from Lissycasey, was 13th overall after this morning's heats and swims again this evening.

Dan Sweeney was disqualified in the 200 metres breaststroke while Nicolas Quinn finished in 22nd place overall.
Brendan Hyland ended 8th in his heat of 200 metres butterfly.
