Teams Named For Clare-Limerick Under-21 Clash

Clare’s Under-21 hurlers will be without a number of key players for tomorrow night's Munster Championship opener against Limerick.

Shane O'Donnell, Cathal O'Connell and Alan O'Neill are all out of the game, though Peter Duggan and Jarlath Colleran have been passed fit to line out.

St. Joseph's man Colleran starts at corner back, beside Jack Browne of Ballyea and Seadna Morey of Sixmilebridge, and ahead of Clooney-Quin's Keith Hogan in goal.

Jamie Shanahan of Sixmilebridge, Conor Cleary of Kilmaley and Gearoid O'Connell of Ballyea are the half-backs, while Eoin Enright of Kilmaley starts beside Colm Galvin of Clonlara in midfield.

Cratloe's Shane Gleeson, Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly of Ballyea and Peter Duggan of Clooney-Quin are the half-forwards.

His namesake Bobby Duggan of Clarecastle is corner forward, beside Aaron Cunningham of Wolfe Tones and Eire Og's David Reidy.

Limerick have also named their team for the game – Shane Dowling will be looking for a repeat of Sunday's heroics as he captains the team from the half-forward line.
