Bolton remain in the drop zone. They blew a 2 goal lead against West Brom to draw 2-all at the Reebok.

Aston Villa are virtually safe, drawing 1-all at home to Tottenham.

The result keeps Spurs fourth – one point ahead of fifth placed Newcastle.

Elsewhere, Fulham beat Sunderland 2-1 and Wolves drew nil-nil with Everton.
