An experimental Republic of Ireland side takes on Italy this evening in Belgium.
Paul Mc Shane captains the team while 31 year old David Forde starts in goal in place of the rested Shay Given, ex Galway and Derry stopper Forde now plays for Millwall.

In defence Darren O’Dea or Stephen Kelly will partner Sean St Ledger while on the left wing the manager will decide between Stephen Hunt or Liam Lawrence.
Shane Long and Andy Keogh start up front while Seamus Coleman starts on the right wing and Kevin Foley starts in centre midfield alongside Keith Andrews.
