Triple Header Of Clare SFC Action In Store In Cusack Park

There is a triple header of action in Cusack Park today in the opening round of the Clare senior football championship.

The first of those is the high noon showdown between last years beaten finalists Cratloe and 2015 runners up Cooraclare.

The second of today’s game sees Lissycasey taking on Eire Óg, with Lissycasey hoping to build on their recent Garry Cup success

The final game this evening sees Clondegad take on Doonbeg from 5.15pm.

In the intermediate championship, newly crowned Junior A champions Banner GAA take on Eire Og at Gurteen, while Corofin meet Naomh Eoin in Cooraclare.

There is a North Clare derby as Kilfenora face Liscannor in Corofin, Gurteen is also the venue for the meeting of Wolfe Tones and Coolmeen, while Shannon Gaels and O’Curry’s clash in Doonbeg.
