Power celebrated his fortieth birthday by finishing seventh in the national cross country championships in Derry on Sunday.
The Kilmurray Ibrickane man was honoured for this by being named as one of two reserves on Ireland’s Men’s Team for the championships which will be held in Portugal later this month.
