Wimbledon

Roger Federer is fighting for survival at this year’s Wimbledon.

The top seed is trailing Thomas Berdych of the Czech Republic by two sets to one.

Federer lost the opening set on Centre Court, but he appeared to be back in control when he cruised to the second set.

However, Berdych rattled the defending champion by dropping just one game on his way to winning the third set and the Czech has just broken his opponent’s serve to take a 4-3 lead in the fourth.

Over on court number one, Novak Djokovic is already through to the last-four after beating Taiwan’s Yen-Hsun Lu in straight sets.

Meanwhile, the Williams sisters lost their women’s doubles quarter-final against the Russian duo of Elena Vesnina and Vera Zvonareva.
