Sixteen years after the Gaelic Players Association was created, the women's GPA will be formally launched today.
The representative body for female inter-county players will be aligned to the men's GPA, which has also helped to get them up-and-running.

The Women's GPA will seek to defend and protect the rights of ladies footballers and camogie stars.
