Kelly Challenges Ballyea to Drive Forward to Munster Title

Ballyea’s Tony Kelly is urging the squad to push on to provincial glory.

The newly crowned Clare champions are preparing for a first ever Munster Final after a dramatic victory over Thurles Sarsfields last weekend.
The former Hurler of the Year says they’re eager to keep a fairytale year going when they face Glen Rovers in two weeks time.

Meanwhile one of the key men in their drive to the final says reaching the decider with his club is one of the most special moments in his career.

Clare football captain Gary Brennan pounced for a late goal in Sunday’s win to force the game to extra time, with the Clare champions eventually edging to victory.
Brennan, who led the Banner to the Division Three League title this year, says club success is the most special of all.

They will take on Glen Rovers in Semple Stadium Thurles on Sunday November 20th with a 2pm throw in.
